L. Paulette Hale, MD and Thomas G. Bowen, Jr. are engaged and planning to be married on February 5, 1994 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Roanoke, Va. Dr. Hale is the daughter of Bob and Pauline Hale of Roanoke. She graduated from Northside High School in Roanoke; Roanoke College in Salem; and the Medical College of VA in Richmond. She is a resident in Internal Medicine at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Mr. Bowen is the son of Brenda Bowen of Winston-Salem, NC and Thomas Bowen, Sr. of Winston-Salem, NC. He graduated from Mt. Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, NC and North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He is manager of client services for Damage Track, a division of Supermarket Information Services, Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC.
