BAZEMORE-VAUGHAN

Susan Elizabeth Vaughan and Pete Hudson Bazemore, Jr. were united in marriage on July 17, 1993, in The Chapel of Home Moravian Church in historic Old Salem, Winston-Salem, N.C. The Rev. Dr. Burkette was the officiating clergyman. A reception followed at the Rondthaler-Gramley House on the campus of Salem College.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Okley Vaughan of Ashland, Ky. She is a graduate of Pulaski County High School and Salem College inWinston-Salem, N.C. She has beenemployed as a teacher with Roanoke City School. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hudson Bazemore, Sr. ofAhoskie, N.C. He is a graduate ofRidgecroft High School and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., and is employed as an Investment Professional with Nationwide Financial Services.

The bride was attended by Jill Beth Barr as maid of honor, and JaneBazemore McEarl, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid. Pete Hudson Bazemore, Sr., father of the groom, served as best man. Timothy M. Vaughan, brother of the bride, and Scott M. Richardson, served as groomsmen. After a surprise wedding trip given by the groom, the couple will reside in Florence, S.C.
