FOUTZ-TURNER

Rhonda Charmaine Turner and David Wayne Foutz were married July 17, 1993 in Redwood United Methodist Church by Rev. Charles Comer. The reception was held at the church social hall. The maid of honor was Peggy Turner, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Lisa Toler, sister of the bride, Anita Foutz, sister of the groom, Angela Howell, friend, and Candy Dudley, cousin of the bride. The flowergirl was Brittany Holcomb, cousin of the bride. The best man was Herbert Foutz, father of the groom. The ushers were W. T. Pollard, friend, Mike Foutz, brother of the groom, Mike Adams, friend, and Jerry Ellis, friend. The ringbearer was Asa Richards. The candlelighters were W. T. Pollard and Mike Foutz. The guestbook was attended by Kellie Dillon. The bride wore a white satin gown with delicate chantilly lace heavily overlayed work of pearls and sweetheart neckline with poet sleeves held by satin bows. The basque waistline was detailed with exquisite chantilly lace. The satin bouffant skirt falls into the extended chapel length train with a satin bow at waistline with a pyramid of chantilly lace cutouts. She carried a fresh floral bouquet consisting of roses, orchids, baby carnations, and baby's breath. The attendants wore off the shoulder, tea length dresses in sea spray green satin.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas A. Turner of Wirtz. She is a graduate of Franklin County High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. The bride is employed by The Lane Company. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Herbert Foutz of Hardy, is a graduate of Staunton River High School and Roanoke College. He is employed by Wilson Trucking Company. The newlyweds will live in Wirtz after the wedding trip to Arion Beach and Nags Head, North Carolina.
