Janet Faye Brown and David RayGibson were married Friday night, June 25, 1993, in a barn at Boones Mill, Va. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Glen Sage of the Church of the Brethren. The reception was held at the same location. Sisters of the bride, Barbara Hall, was matron of honor, and Deborah Brown was maid of honor. Niece of the groom, Olivia Body, was bridesmaid. The godchild of the bride, Hallee Deacon, was flowergirl. Son of the bride, Joe Brown, was best man. Nephew of the bride, Ashley Hall, was bearer of rings. The best man and bearer of rings served as ushers. Sisters of the groom, Gay Smith and Joy Rainey, were guest book attendants, and photographer, Diana Body. The bride wore a whitebrocade mini-dress. She carried a bouquet of white roses, pink wild flowers andpurple sage. The bride is the daughter of James Allen and Jeanette Brown of Rocky Mount, Va. She graduated from Franklin County High School and isemployed by CTS, Inc. in Roanoke. The bridegroom is the son of Ruth Henritze of Roanoke, and Bill Gibson of Vallejo, Calif. He graduated from Virginia Western Community College and is self-employed. After their honeymoon in the Smokey Mountains, they will live in Boones Mill.
