HURD-OVERFELT

Rose Overfelt and Doug Hurd were united in marriage on July 9, 1993 in Boones Mill Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Steele was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held at the church.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Wilbert Overfelt. Susie Meador served as her sister's matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Michelle Collins and Pat Hall, sisters of the bride. Heather Overfelt was the junior bridesmaid and Airelle Overfelt was the flower girl, both are daughters of the bride. Tim Taylor, friend of the groom, served as best man. The ushers were Kevin Bolling and Tracy Wood, friends of the groom. Theringbearers were Jonathan Overfelt and Chris Hurd. Teresa Hudson, sister of the bride, was the guestbook attendant.

Rose is the daughter of Ruby P. St.Clair of Boones Mill. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and attended ECPI. Doug is the son of Doris Hurd of Boones Mill. He is a graduate of Franklin County High School and is employed by Lakeland Construction.

Following a wedding trip to thePoconos, the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke County.
