MATUSEVICH-HUFF
Michelle Huff and Dean Matusevich were married July 17, 1993, in Merrimac
Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Jerry Sloss performed the ceremony. The
reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The maid of honor was Stacie
Spradlin, cousin of the bride. The matron of honor was Christy Maxwell, friend
of the bride. Bridesmaids were Robin Hoyt, cousin of the bride, Tina
Matusevich, sister-in-law, and Paula Simpkins, friend of the bride. Flowergirl
was Kristen Hoyt, cousin of the bride. The best man was Mike Matusevich,
brother of the groom. Ushers were Eric Matuse-vich, brother of the groom, Ron
Fisher, David Connley, and Brian Edwards, friends of the groom. Ringbearers
were Brandon and Evan Matusevich, nephews of the groom. The guestbook was
attended by Pam Cantrell, cousin of the bride. The bride's gown was bridal
satin with sequin and pearl beading on front and had long sleeves. Its' full
flowing skirt was accented by a gentle bow with a cathedral lace train
embellished with sequins and beaded pearls. She carried a bouquet of day
lilies with baby's breath, pink roses and carnations. The bride is a daughter
of James and Judy Huff, of Blacksburg. She graduated from Blacksburg High
School and New River Community College. The groom is a son of Edward and Peggy
Matusevich, of Blacksburg. He graduated from New River Community College and
is employed by Harris-Teeter of Christiansburg. The newlyweds will live in
Christiansburg.
