GEIGER ANNIVERSARY

Harry and Alice Geiger celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on July 18, 1993 at their home. The celebration was hosted by Ron and Betty Geiger and Pat Grimes. The couple was married in Gowanda, N.Y. on July 20, 1929, and have resided in Roanoke for 39 years. Mrs. Geiger is the former Alice Vivian Corkwell. She is a past president of the Rainbow Forest Garden Club, an active member of the Green Ridge Extension Homemakers Club and the Laymantown Road Extension Homemakers Club. Mr. Geiger is retired from Eli Lilly. They have two children Pat Grimes of Troutville; and Ron Geiger of Blue Ridge; also four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Both belong to the Botetourt County Republican Committee. Out of town guests attending thecelebration were Scott and Crystal Suggs of McCormick, S.C.
