OBIT TINSLEY, ELIZABETH

TINSLEY, Elizabeth ("Libby"), 64, of Roanoke, died Sunday, July 18, 1993, in a local hospital. She was the widow of John T. Tinsley Jr. Surviving are three sons, Richard Tinsley of Vinton, Donald M. Tinsley of Thaxton and James Tinsley of Roanoke; three sisters, Verna May Whitesell of Upper Lakes, Calif., Edith Smith of Baltimore, Md. and Gloria Tuck of Roanoke; two brothers, Earl Hayes Jr. and Robert L. Hayes of Roanoke; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the graveside at Mill Creek Cemetery in Botetourt County at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
