LIBRARY PLANS MASK WORKSHOP

As part of its Summer Reading Program, the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library will hold mask and puppet workshops for children of all ages. The workshops will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Blacksburg branch on Draper Road and Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Jessie Peterman branch in Floyd.

Children who visit the Montgomery County Bookmobile through July 28 or the Floyd County Bookmobile through July 31 will get materials to make an "asp mobile," an Egyptian headdress or a mummy.

Youngsters who wear an archaeologist outfit when they visit the Bookmobile will have their pictures taken.
