The tournament, founded by Drysdale in 1987, invites only Hall of Fame members in various sports. It already has acceptances from 52 of the 58 sports stars expected to take part in this year's tournament Nov. 17-20.
"We will continue to present this special golf tournament bearing Don's name and turn it into a living legacy to him," said his wife, former UCLA basketball star Ann Meyers.
Drysdale, 56, a Dodger broadcaster, died of a heart attack July 2 while the team was in Montreal.
Proceeds benefit school and youth programs in Los Angeles and Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
