OBIT JOHNSON, GRACE PEARL

JOHNSON, Grace Pearl, 82, of Salem, died Sunday, July 18, 1993, in a Roanoke hospital. She was a member of the Green Hill Church of the Brethren, Salem. She is survived by her husband, James H. (Buddy) Johnson Jr.; four sons and daughters-in-law, James H. (Jay) and Linda Johnson III, Roanoke, Van B. and Teresa Johnson, Salem, Kirk D. and Sharon Johnson, Staunton, Kendall M. and Channing Johnson, Salem; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lydia J. and David Wygal, Salem, Roslyn J. and Glenn Kingery, Boca Raton, Fla.; two sisters, Mary B. Davis and Retha B. Manning; ten grandchildren, Cathy Johnson, Scott Johnson, Clint Johnson, Todd Hannah, Jarrod Roberts, Sarah Johnson, Trent Johnson, Callie Ann Kingery, Will Kingery, Jordan Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Cody, Jessica, Kaitlyn Johnson; brother-in-law, Jack Davis; three sisters-in-law, Cathryn J. Puckett, Myrtle B. Boone, Jessie S. Boone. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 21, 1993, 2 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Dee C. Flory and Rev. James Cannaday officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Green Hill Church of the Brethren Memorial Fund or the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel, after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
