THEATER CHAIN COLLECTING FLOOD AID

R/C Theatres, which operates New River Valley Movies at the New River Valley Mall, has established a fund to benefit victims of flooding in the Midwest.

The chain will donate a percentage of its theaters' gross snack-bar sales to the flood victim relief fund, and has pledged at least $15,000 through Aug. 12.

R/C Theatres, with headquarters in Reisterstown, Md., operates theaters in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
