OBIT SINK, CHARLES REID

SINK, Charles Reid, 55, of Boones Mill, died Wednesday, July 21, 1993, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. His residence was Route 3. He was born December 5, 1937 in Franklin County, the son of the late Harry and Lucie B. Sink. Reid was president of the Red Valley Community Center and owner of Reid's Towing and Recovery. Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Mark Lewis, Fork Mountain Community; one son and girlfriend, Reggie Sink and Cathy Carter, Boones Mill; also surviving is a special friend, Sue Irby. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Lynch Chapel by the Rev. Joe Dillon with interment to follow in the Red Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin 2 p.m. Thursday at Lynch Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggest that memorials be made to Red Valley Community Center, Route 3, Box 796, Boones Mill or Red Valley Rescue Squad, Route 3, Box 888, Boones Mill, VA 24065.
