OBIT STANLEY, MAWYER WILLARD

STANLEY, Mawyer Willard, 70, of Troutville, died Thursday, July 22, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Christine S. Stanley; one son, Kenneth Wayne Stanley, both of Troutville; three sisters, Nora Poindexter, Mary McGee, both of North Carolina, Janie Cain, Salem; one granddaughter, Rachel Elaine Stanley; a special nephew and niece, Curtis D. and Betty Stanley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, 1 p.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Harold E. Cook Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Cooper Cemetery, Callaway. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
