OBIT FORBES, CHARLIE MCKINLEY

FORBES, Charlie McKinley, 91, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 1993 at Radford Community Hospital. He was a member of Morgans Chapel Methodist Church and he was retired from the Lynchburg Foundry, with forty-eight years of service. He was preceded in death by one son, Carl E. Forbes. He is survived by his wife, Elsie H. Forbes; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Janice Forbes, Dublin, Charles Robert and Emily Forbes, San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Annie Robinson, Dublin; one half brother, Henry Harrison, Dublin; one half sister, Audrey Orren, Radford; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nepews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, 1993 at 11 a.m. at the Morgans Chapel Methodist Church, New River, with Rev. Neil Long officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
