CLARK-DEWIND

Kim Ann DeWind and Edward Wayne Clark were married July 24, 1993, inthe First United Methodist Church ofSalem, with Reverend John L. Bennett officiating. The reception was held at Roanoke Moose Lodge. The maid of honor was Judith Conover of Virginia Beach. The matron of honor was Judith Vaughan, sister of the bride, from Greensboro, N.C. The bridesmaids were Leslie Staley, Vicki Clarke, Karen Creasy, Leslee Ford, Lisa Rotello and Meredith Roller, all friends of the bride. Flowergirl was Crystal Gruber, cousin to the bride. The best man was Quill Giles of Salem, Va., friend of the groom. The ushers were David Clark and Jody Clark, brother of the groom; Mike Morgan, Tom Roller, John Yaniero and Larry Davis, friends of the groom; and Bill Vaughan, brother-in-law of groom. Ringbearer was Michael P. Vaughan, nephew to the bride. Readings were by Emmett Russell, stepfather of the bride. The wedding coordinators were Kay McGrath and Marilyn Morgan, friends of the bride. The guestbook attendants were Vicki Wert and Julie Martin. The bride's gown was shantung silk, puff sleeves with sweetheart neckline and cathedral train. She carried a cascading bouquet of porcelain roses with white stephanotis, freesia, purple statice and ivy trimmed with satin and beading. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Russell of Concord, N.C. and Mr. Donald DeWind of Waterloo, N.Y. She is a graduate of Brookville High School and Radford University. The groom is the son of Mr. David Clark of Buchanan, Va. and Mrs. Brenda Salmon of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Roanoke College and is employed by Wittenbach Business Systems. Following theirwedding trip the couple will reside in Greensboro, N.C.
