LYLE-FERGUSON

Margaret Jean Ferguson and David Lee Lyle were united in marriage on July 24, 1993 in Bassett Memorial United Methodist Church. Reverend JamesMeredith and Reverend Bradford Phillips were the officiating clergymen. Thereception was held at Bassett Country Club.

Miss Tamela Ferguson, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Mrs.Dorothy Anderson, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Sheryl F. Joyce and Mrs.Cynthia F. Shelton, sisters of the bride; Miss Ann Lyle, sister of the groom; and Miss Lisa Pulliam, cousin of the bride. Mr. Glen Lyle served as his son's best man. The ushers were Mr. Stephen Ferguson, brother of the bride; Mr. John Aldridge, Mr. D. Scott Helms and Mr. Tim Peters, friends of the groom. Miss Susan Sharp was the guestbook attendant.

Margaret is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Thomas Ferguson of Bassett. She graduated from Bassett High School and from James Madison University in 1992. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen L. Lyle of Roanoke. He is a graduate of William Fleming High School, a 1992 graduate of James Madison University and has competed his first year of study at Eastern Mennonite Seminary.

The newlyweds will reside in Vinton.
