REINERTSEN-SIBLEY

Kara Lynn Sibley and John Lawrence Reinertsen were united in marriage on July 10, 1993 at Truro Episcopal Church in Fairfax, Va. The Rev. Joseph Kitts and Dr. Lawrence G. Reinertsen, father of the groom, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. H. Thornton Sibley of Covington, Va.,formerly of Roanoke, and the late Mr. Sibley. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence G. Reinertsen of Carlisle, Pa.

Mrs. Kimberly Allen of Virginia Beach, friend of the bride, was matronof honor. Bridesmaids were KristyReinertsen, sister of the groom, ofCarlisle, Pa.; Becky Phillips and Isabelle James, both friends of the bride, ofSterling, Va. Kelly Burch of Harrisonburg, Va., cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. James Reinertsen of Vienna, Va., brother of the groom, was best man. The ushers were David Reinertsen ofCarlisle, Pa., brother of the groom; Nils Bryant of Chester, N.J., cousin of the groom; and Steve Schroder of Reston, Va., friend of the groom. Derek Ergenbright of Roanoke, Va., cousin of the bride, was the ringbearer.

The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage on behalf ofher mother by her cousin, GregoryErgenbright, of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and of RadfordUniversity. She is a Kitchen and BathDesigner for Bray and Scarf in Fairfax, Va.

The groom attended VPI & SU and is presently in his final semester at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, Pa., majoring in Geo-Environmental Studies.

The couple will be at home in Reston, Va., following a wedding trip toWilliamsburg.
