RICHARDS-GORDON

Kristi Dawn Gordon and DouglasEdward Richards were united in marriage on July 24, 1993 in a candlelight ceremony at Calvary Baptist Church in Radford, Va. with the Reverend O.D. Morgan officiating. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Preston Gordon of Radford.

The bridegroom is the son of Evelyn Richards of Radford and the late Everett Richards.

Mrs. Regina Miller of Colonial Heights, Va., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Sherry Richards of Christiansburg, sister-in-law of the groom, Miss Shannon Reeves of Radford and Mrs. Tamatha Cales of Franklin, Va., friends of the bride and groom.

Miss Paige Shepherd was flowergirl. Master Randy Gordon was ring bearer. The brother of the bridegroom, Eddie Richards of Christiansburg, was best man. Groomsmen were Doyle Miller of Colonial Heights, brother-in-law of the bride, Todd Cales of Franklin, Va. and Jeff Dotto of Radford, friends of the groom. Mrs. Phyllis Morgan was director. Miss Susan Stuart attended the guest book. A program of wedding music was performed by Ms. Donna Alley of Radford. Vocalists were Eddie and Sherry Richards.

The reception was held at the Best Western Radford Inn, Radford, Va. The rehearsal dinner was given by the groom's mother.

The bride is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and Wytheville Community College. She is employed by Dr. William Armour of Shawsville.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Radford High School and is employed by Saul Construction Co. After a southern wedding trip the couple will reside in Dublin, Va.
