HOLLER'S HITTING POWERS NORTH ROANOKE TO DIXIE PONYTAIL WIN

Jenelle Holler had a homer, a triple, two singles and drove in 11 runs as North Roanoke American defeated Bedford Central 18-1 in the Dixie Ponytail State Fast-Pitch Softball Tournament at McKee Field in Bedford.

Brett Newman pitched five scoreless and hitless innings. Holly Booth pitched in relief and had four hits.

Amber Kern added two hits for North Roanoke, which advances to the third round at 6 tonight against Botetourt.
