BUCS HAVE FANS IN OUTLYING AREAS

As a baseball fan living within an hour's driving distance of Roanoke, but outside the Roanoke Valley, I am frustrated by your lack of coverage of the Salem Bucs. I assume that your Roanoke-Salem-Vinton edition covers the Bucs, but the edition we get in Lexington hardly acknowledges their existence.

Last Saturday, a friend and I planned to attend the Salem vs. Winston-Salem game. The only way I could find the game time in your sports pages was by looking at the radio time - which was wrong, as I discovered entirely by chance. I thoroughly enjoy going to the Bucs games, and so might others if only the newspaper gave them some coverage. Why not do it?
