OBIT ROBERTSON, MARVIN RICHARD
ROBERTSON, Marvin Richard, 54, of Route 4, Rocky Mount, died Saturday, July
24, 1993. Richard was a longtime faithful member of the Oak Grove Church of
the Brethren, where he served as assistant Sunday School superintendent, and
was employed with M W Manufacturers for the past 10 years. He was preceded in
death by his parents, Jim Edd Robertson and Virginia Robertson Camp; a son,
Roger Dale Robertson. Surviving are his wife, Janet Altice Robertson; a son
and daughter-in-law, Tony R. and Bonnie Robertson of Rocky Mount; one
daughter, Tina S. Robertson of Roanoke; a granddaughter, Jennifer Harden; two
brothers, Jimmy Robertson and Bobby Wayne Robertson, both of Rocky Mount;
three sisters, Marie R. Ray of Boones Mill, Arlene R. Arrington and Ocie R.
Dillon, both of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, July 27, 1993, at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
Curtis English officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Church
Cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Richard to the Oak Grove Church
of the Brethren, Route 4, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. The family will receive
friends on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky
Mount.
