WATERCOLOR ARTISTS AWARDED PRIZES

The 14th Virginia Watercolor Society Jurored Exhibit 1993 has awarded several prizes to area artists.

Patricia T. Carr of Roanoke won the $200 Chesapeake Bay Watercolorists Award; Z.L. Feng of Radford, the $250 Savoir Faire-Lana Paper Award; Robert Fields of Blacksburg, the $200 Northern Virginia Watercolor Workshop Award; Jean Nelson, of Christiansburg, the $200 Centrial Fidelity Bank/Northern Region Award; and Mei Shu of Radford, the $200 Citizens Bank & Trust Company/Blackstone Award.

William D. Gorman, president of the American Watercolor Society, was the show's juror.
