WILDER MAKES APPOINTMENTS TO STATE BOARDS AND PANELS

Gov. Douglas Wilder announced his selections for appointment to various boards, commissions, and study committees on July 22.

Robert S. Dix of Marion was appointed to the Virginia Aviation Board.

Virgil A. Cook of Blacksburg was appointed to the Virginia Board for the Visually Handicapped.

Clinton E. Martin of Stuarts Draft was appointed to the Virginia Corn Board.

Robert F. Peck of Roanoke was appointed to the Virginia Health Planning Board.

Robert H. Myers of Roanoke was appointed to the Virginia Council on Vocational Education.

Robert A. Williams of Martinsville and Sheriff Alvin Hudson were appointed to the Governor's Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Problems. Williams was appointed as chairman.
