OBIT BOLLETER, WILLIAM T.

BOLLETER, William T., 66, of Blacksburg, passed away at 5:45 a.m., Sunday, July 25, 1993, at his home. Mr. Bolleter was born in Lufkin, Texas on June 29, 1927, to the late Blanche Inez and Cyril T. Bolleter. He received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Texas in 1955. Mr. Bolleter was retired from R.A.A.P. as Technical Director with 23 years of service. Prior to coming to Blacksburg, he was with Hercules in Salt Lake City, Utah for four years. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Edna Lee Bolleter; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Cathi Bolleter of Floyd County; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Barry Archer of Lake Jackson, Texas and Sandra and Richard Johnson of Edgewood, N.M.; four grandchildren, Melissa and Sean Archer of Texas, Cristiana and Elisa Johnson of New Mexico; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn and Danny Isidori of White Plains, N.Y. and Melva and Sidney Lanier of Houston, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Sandra Bolleter of Sugarland, Texas and Robert and Lynn Bolleter of Port Lavaca, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Blacksburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Herbert Hobbs officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 931, Blacksburg, VA 24060, or New River Valley Hospice, Inc., 1806 Price's Fork Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
