RED CROSS SEEKS AID FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

The American Red Cross is seeking cash donations to help victims of recent flooding. All contributions will be forwarded to the American Red Cross Disaster Fund for the Midwest Floods.

The money will be used to provide shelter, food, medical supplies and other basic necessities to those affected by the floods.

Local chapters are not collecting food, clothing or other supplies and materials.

Checks, made out to American Red Cross and earmarked for flood relief, may be sent to either New River Valley chapter:
