22 COAL CARS DERAIL ON MAIN AMTRAK LINE

Twenty-two coal cars derailed Wednesday, spilling coal and closing a main Amtrak line between Chicago and Washington.

No injuries were reported in the derailment between U.S. 119 and the downtown Amtrak station.

The eastbound, 124-car freight train was carrying coal to Richmond, Va., when a car slipped a track.
