OBIT CLARK, EARLY GOLDEN

CLARK, Early Golden, 75, of Buena Vista, died July 27, 1993, in a Lexington Hospital. He was born April 23, 1918 in Rockbridge County, the son of the late Henry P. and Rosa Floyd Clark. He was a sawyer at the Fitzgeralds Lumber Co. and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Clark, Tenn., Ray Clark, Buena Vista; three sisters, Mary Katherine Humphries, Staunton, Elsie May Shiflett, Craigsville, Geraldine Ailer, Staunton; three brothers, Ellie Willard Clark, Bobby Z. Clark and Donnie Obrine Clark, all of Buena Vista; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at the Mountain View Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Ballard Shepherd. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lomax Funeral Home.
