RELIGION BRIEFS

THE ROSE BUTLER BROWN MISSIONARY CIRCLE at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1014 Norfolk Ave. S.W., will observe its annual missionary program on Sunday at 5 p.m. Choirs and speakers from surrounding areas will participate.

\ THE REV. NATHAN LEIGH has concluded a six-year pastorate at Ghent Grace Brethren Church. He is awaiting a call to begin training for mission service in the Philippines.

The Rev. Brent Sandy and the Rev. Danny Wright will replace Leigh. Sandy has been minister of music at the church for the past five years, and Wright has been associate pastor for six.

\ THE REMODELING of Covenant Presbyterian Church is nearing completion. The $500,000 project includes enlarging the worship area to seat 80 more people, moving the organ and other changes to increase space and efficiency.
