A man was arrested Thursday in what police records indicate is the first armed robbery in this tiny Pacific island nation.
The man was charged with robbing The Rarotongan resort hotel of $24,750 on Wednesday.
Inspector Richard Browne of the Cook Island police said there was no record of any previous armed robbery. - Associated Press
