OBIT GUNTNER, JOHN W.

GUNTNER, John W., 75, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, July 29, 1993. He was a member and a deacon of the Northminster Presbyterian Church; and was an army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella V. Guntner; one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Judy Stough and Zack of Mount Airy, Md.; one son and daughter-in-law, John W. Guntner III and Talula of Springfield; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ruth G. Lucas, Springfield. Funeral will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 1993, with the Rev. David A. Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Glencoe Cemetery in Big Stone Gap 3 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
