OBIT MAXIE, HENRY ROOSEVELT

MAXIE, Henry Roosevelt, ("Bill"), 59, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, July 29, 1993, in a local hospital. He was employed by Frigid Freeze, and is survived by his wife, Martha Maxie; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Narvella Maxie, Vinton, Robert and Linda Maxie, Roanoke; a grandson, Marquis Regnier, Vinton; six brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. John Ott officiating. Interment will follow in the Maxie Family Cemetery (Bent Mountain). Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
