OBIT TYREE, ELISHA FRANKLIN

TYREE, Elisha Franklin, ("Toby"), 62, of Roanoke, died Thursday, July 29, 1993, in a local hospital. He was retired from Mohawk Rubber Co. and was the son of the late George and Amanda Tyree. Surviving are his wife, Gloria H. Tyree; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda K. and David Lavender, Raphine; six sons, Toby L. Tyree, Gary W. Tyree, Michael D. Tyree and wife, Molly, Darrell F. Tyree, Kevin J. Tyree, Andrew J. Tyree, all of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Gary W. Tyree Jr., James Edward Tyree, Amanda Lee Tyree, Travis Wayne Tyree, Patricia Lynn Lavender, David Lee Lavender; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter O. and Louise Tyree, Jesse Linwood and Louise Chris Tyree, Paul Wilmer and Elizabeth Tyree, Lucille Tyree, all of Roanoke, Doris Tyree, Salem; also Gary's good friend, Linda Deacon; and her children, Amanda and Danielle; former daughters-in-law, Alice, Sue and Joanne. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 2 p.m. Sunday with David Smoker officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
