WYTHE COUNTY DEVELOPMENT OFFICIAL HAS ARTICLE PUBLISHED

The spring issue of Economic Development Review, a publication of the American Economic Development Council, contains an article by Earl R. Joy, executive director of the Joint Industrial Development Authority of Wythe County.

The article, "Enterprise Zone Establishment and Operation Issues," provides a list of recommendations that a county should consider before establishing an enterprise zone.

It was based on Joy's thesis at the Economic Development Institute of the University of Oklahoma. The institute program is a three-year course for professional economic developers. Joy is a 1991 graduate.
