BAKER-HESS

Deborah Lynn Hess and StevenWilliam Baker were united in marriage on June 13, 1993, at Va. Tech War Memorial Chapel, Blacksburg, Va. Austin Fields, stepgrandfather of the bride, performed the ceremony.

The matron of honor was Nina Fields, mother of the bride. Bridesmaids were Robin Baker, sister of the groom, Chelista Linkous, Leisa Short, Stephanie Hudson, Julie Hefner, and Meggan Hall, friends of the bride. The flowergirl was Ashley Linkous.

The best man was Scott Baker, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Doyle Fields, stepfather of the bride, Todd Linkous, David Shelor, and Carson Poole, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Dakota Stanford.

The reception was held at Round Meadow Country Club in Christiansburg.

The bride is the daughter of Doyle and Nina Fields, of Lebanon, Va., and Beecher Hess, of Paul Mary, S.C.

The groom is the son of Gary Baker and Jane Baker, of Christiansburg, Va.
