\ ROANOKE CITY SCHOOLS: Courses run September through May in business, trades/industrial and marketing programs. Certification in secretarial and some trade/industrial programs is available. Certificates of completion in nonaccredited courses. Graduate Equivalency Diploma program offered for those who did not receive high school diplomas. \ ROANOKE COUNTY SCHOOLS: Courses offered in business, marketing education, trades/industrial training, home economics. Certificates of completion offered in nonaccredited courses. \ VIRGINIA WESTERN COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Courses offered on credit and noncredit basis, including off-campus locations. Many classes can be applied to degree programs at Virginia Western and four-year institutions. There is a special focus on training programs to upgrade employee skills in business, health care and industry. Certificate courses offered in short-term, technical skills, training and non-credit courses for personal enrichment offered days, evenings and weekends. \ HOLLINS COLLEGE (HOLLINS HORIZON - ADULT BACCALAUREATE DEGREE PROGRAM): Accredited courses designed for adult women pursuing bachelor's degrees in liberal arts. Master's program offered for women and men. Fall session begins Sept. 9, and the spring session begins Feb. 2. A short term runs during January only.
