THERE ARE SCORES OF COURTS AVAILABLE FOR TENNIS LOVERS

Roanoke Valley tennis players have scores of courts to choose from. Some are private, and some public courts require reservations through the sponsoring club or organization.

In this list, the first figure indicates the number of courts at a site; the second is the number of lighted courts.

\ HUNTING HILLS: Pro John Barker provides half-hour lessons for $13.50 to members and $15 for non-members. Assistant pro Nick Molloy offers half-hour lessons for $12 to members and $13.50 to non-members. Hour lessons are available for double half-hour rates. Ten-week clinics, beginning in September and January, are offered for juniors (ages 5-18).

\ ROANOKE COUNTRY CLUB: Pro Fred Rawlings offers 45-minute lessons for $15. Assistant pros Chris O'Keefe and Floyd Greene offer half-hour lessons for $10-13. Hour sessions are double half-hour rates.
