NICHOLS Charles Stanford, 84, of Copper Hill, died Monday, August 2, 1993, in Skyline Manor Nursing Home, Floyd. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Irene and Thurman DeWeese and Lorene and Byron Carr; one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Vioma Nichols, all of Copper Hill; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest Nichols, Copper Hill, and Willard Nichols of Callaway. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Copper Hill Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Frank Wimmer officiating, with interment in Crossroads Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd.
