OBIT KRANTZ, DONALD WAYNE

KRANTZ, Donald Wayne, 48, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 1993, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born October 20, 1944 in Bedford County, a son of Samuel Krantz and Lena Stevens Krantz of Huddleston. He was an automobile mechanic and was a member of Huddleston United Methodist Church. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his wife, Judy St. Clair Krantz; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Kevin Furrow, Roanoke; Lorrie and Richard Dooley, Montvale; three brothers, Earl E. Krantz Jr., Lynch Station; Larry Glenn Krantz, Gretna; Timothy D. Krantz, Moneta; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 5, 1993 at 2 p.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, by the Rev. Lawrence Pritchett. Interment will follow in the Leftwich Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
