OBIT JETT, FERNE WILLIAMS

JETT, Ferne Williams, 88, of Radford, passed away Monday, August 2, 1993, at Lewis-Gale Hospital. She was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Radford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Jett. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Pete McGhee of Narrows, Susanne and Bob Dennis of Salem, and Becky and Tom Williams of New Bern, N.C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Margaret Williams of Galax; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at The Presbyterian Church of Radford with Rev. Manson Tate officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Felts Cemetery in Galax. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Seaver-Sanders and Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Ronald McDonald House, 2224 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke, VA 24014.
