CONNER MEMORIAL CAR SHOW AUG. 15

The third annual Jesse Conner Memorial Car Show will be held Aug. 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., at Floyd County High School. The show is sponsored by the Floyd Parks Committee Inc.

Cars will be admitted 8:30 a.m.-noon only.

Judging begins at 1 p.m., and trophies and awards will be presented at 4 p.m.

The show will feature 28 vehicle classes.

A model-car contest and an auction of race-car and sports memorabilia will be held in conjunction with the show.

Admission to the show is $4, and accompanying children under 10 are free.

In case of rain, the show will be held Aug. 22.
