FRENCH, Susan Belle, 86, of Salem,died Thursday morning, August 5, 1993, in
a Salem nursing home. Miss French was a retired school teacher and had taught
in Virginia for over forty-three years. She was born in Giles County and was a
daughter of the late John Easley French and Pricie Snidow French. She is
survived by relatives in Giles County, Salem, Roanoke, Newport News, Bristol,
Tenn. and Charlotte, N.C. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 7,
1993 at 11 a.m. in the French-Mason Cemetery. The family will receive friends
at the Givens Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
