PRESBYTERIANS' SPECIAL OFFERING TO BENEFIT FLOOD VICTIMS

Christiansburg Presbyterian Church, 107 W. Main St., will receive a FLOOD RELIEF offering Sunday at its 8:45 and 10:55 a.m. services. Special offering envelopes will be available. Presbyterian World Service, the church's disaster relief agency, is working with presbyteries in the Midwest to provide direct assistance to flood victims.

\ WHITE MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, U.S. 460, Shawsville, will host its annual ice cream and dessert social Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

Camp Bethel United Methodist Church, Virginia 679 in Floyd County, Sunday, with Sunday school at 11:30 a.m., a covered-dish dinner at 12:30 p.m., and singing at 2 p.m. The Rev. Lawrence Nuckolls will deliver a sermon after the singing.

The church welcomes members and former members of the former Bethlehem and Camp Creek United Methodist churches, which combined to form the Camp Bethel congregation.
