OBIT PRICE, HENRY WHITE
PRICE, Henry White, 85, of Forest, died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 3,
1993. He was born December 14, 1907, in Montgomery County, a son of the late
Charles Luther Price and Mabel Lenora Shafer Price. He was a retired
metallurgist for the Norfolk Naval Air Station, a member of Luther Memorial
Lutheran Church in Blacksburg, Ocean View Masonic Lodge #335 A.F.&A.M.,
Norfolk, Lynchburg Elks Lodge #321, Bedford Country Club and attended St.
John's Episcopal Church, Bedford. He and his wife, Mary Crowder Price retired
to Bedford from Norfolk in 1974 and for the last four years he had made his
home with his daughter, Terry P. Campbell, 304 Casaloma Dr., Forest. In
addition to his daughter, he is survived by a sister, Helen Huff of
Blacksburg; a brother, Albert Price of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; two grandchildren,
Christian Clay Campbell and Amy Rebecca Campbell of Forest. Services will be
private. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Carder-Tharp
Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
