OBIT DISHON, THELMA O'DELL

DISHON, Thelma O'Dell, 74, of Route 1, Box 191, Draper, died Thursday evening, August 5, 1993 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Pulaski County on August 19, 1918, and was the daughter of the late Samuel O'Dell and Mellie Taylor O'Dell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Dishon. Surviving are one daughter, Verna Crowder, Dublin; two sons, Norris Dishon, Draper, Harry Dishon Jr., Greensboro, N.C.; three sisters, Callie Phillips, Draper, Katherine Lewis, Roanoke, Sammie Dalton, Draper; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with Melvin Grady officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. Visiting will be Saturday at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Pulaski.
