OBIT SOUTHERS, JAMES WILLIAM

SOUTHERS, James William, 66, of Buena Vista, Va., died Thursday, August 5, 1993, in the Community Hospital of the Roanoke Valley. Mr. Southers was born in Rockbridge Co., Va., on March 19, 1927, a son of the late Hiram Clark and Lovie Lilly Clark. He was a member of the West View Holiness Church and was retired from Georgia Pacific. Mr. Southers is survived by a sister, Darlene Flowers, Buena Vista; a fiancee, Lou Ann Camden, Buena Vista; three grandchildren, Marlana Mott, Andrea Mott, Travis Mott. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside Sunday, August 8, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista, with the Rev. George Flowers officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service, Buena Vista.
