OBIT HALL, CHARLES JOHN

HALL, Charles John, 68, of Blue Ridge, Texas, died unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Delaware, July 22, 1925 and was married to the former Elsie Adkins formerly of Franklin County. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Steve Greer of Hardy, Nancy and Don Brooks of Boones Mill, Va.; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Melvin and Wenda Kelly of Odessa, Texas, Jackie Hall and fiance, Mikie Young of Roanoke, David and Naomi Hall of Arizona, Daniel and Susanne Hall of Ft. Wayne, Ind. Also surviving are two sisters, Jeane McElroy of Baltimore, Md. and Louise Williams of Ky.; and eighteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday from Lynch Chapel by the Rev. Abe Handy Jr. with interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will begin 4 p.m. Saturday at Lynch Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., other times at the residence of the daughter, Barbara Greer.
