BAXTER-ZAHORCHAK

Christa L. Zahorchak and Peter C. Baxter were married August 7, 1993, in Christ Episcopal Church. Rev. Milvan Maxey performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the Radisson Patrick Henry Hotel. The maid of honor wasKaren Zahorchak, of Roanoke, sister of the bride, and the matron of honor was Susan Kratzer, of Richmond, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melissa Wiley Laughlin, of Houston, Keely Plymale, of Richmond, and Margo Crews Underwood, of Richmond, all friends of the bride. Flowergirl was Lindsay Schabert. The best man was Phillip Baxter, of Memphis, brother of the groom. Ushers were Don Baxter, of Fredericksburg, brother of the groom, Burnley Taylor, Clayborne Taylor, and Scott Olsen, all of Fredericksburg, friends of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Walter and Joyce Zahorchak, of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School in 1983 and from Virginia Tech in 1987. She is currently working on an internship and her masters to be a registered dietitian (at Va. Tech). The groom is a son of Neill Baxter and Carmen Baxter, of Fredericksburg. He graduated from King George High School and from Mary Washington College in 1985. He is a self-employed software consultant. After the wedding trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico, the newlyweds will live in Fredericksburg, Va.
