CARTER-HUELS

Stephanie Kay Huels and John Owen Carter Jr. were married June 23, 1993 at the Candlelight Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nev. where the couple also honeymooned. Rev. Jim Hamilton officiated. (He also performed the ceremony in the movie "Honeymoon in Vegas").

After the couple exchanged vows they were air lifted by helicopter to view the lights over the City of Las Vegas.

A small reception was given in honor of the happy couple by Regina Boothe, close friend of the bride.

On July 10th another reception was held in the couples honor at the D.A.V. Community Room.

Stephanie is the daughter of Ret. Capt. USMC Walter D. Huels and Katherine Kidd Huels of Roanoke. John is the son of Mr. John Owen Carter Sr. and TerryCarter of Vinton.

Stephanie & John would like to give special thanks to their families for contributing to a wonderful new beginning.
