EDWARDS-ANDERSON

Kitty W. Anderson and Robert E.Edwards were married August 7, 1993, in the garden at La Maison Restaurant in Roanoke, Virginia. The ReverendKenneth G. Goodrich of Red Springs, North Carolina, performed the morning ceremony. The reception was also held at La Maison.

Sarah Ashley Anderson, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Richard K. Edwards of Arnold, Maryland, brother of the groom, was best man. Honorary best men were Colonel Larry M. Edwards of Pensacola, Florida, and John B. Edwards of Harrisonburg, Virginia, both brothers of the groom.

A program of wedding and reception music was presented by Don Taylor of Rocky Mount, Virginia.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Bryant of Buchanan, Virginia, and Mr. William W. Watts ofBirmingham, Alabama. She attended Frederick College and Jefferson State, and was formerly employed with Hollins College.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Martha M. Edwards and the late Mr. Melvin E. Edwards of Buchanan, Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and is employed with Norfolk Southern Corporation.

Following a wedding trip to Florida, the Edwards will reside in Chesapeake, Virginia.
